Anna lived her whole life in the central idyllic village of Attard, Malta. All the information I have on her comes from church records.
She is one of my paternal great-great-grandmothers.
Anna was born in Attard, Malta1, on Wednesday 28 January 18351, daughter of Giovanni Xiberras and Maria Magro1. She was baptised on the same day as Anna Grazia Theresa Paola Giovanna1 in the parish church of Attard1.
Since she was baptised as Anna, that is how I refer to her here. In one instance, she is referred to on official documentation as “Annie”2.

Family
On Sunday 16 January 18593 she married Giovanni Borg3 in the parish church of Attard3. The banns had been published in November 1858, 2 and 9 January3. The parish priest, Fr Antonius Vassallo officiated3.

Notable events
She lived in Attard, for all her life, residing at 2, Alley #2, Via Notabile4.
Death
She died on Thursday 1 June 19224 at 21:304 at her home in Attard4 of cerebral apoplexy4. Her family buried her in the parish church in Attard4, as was custom in those days.
They registered her death with the state 2 days later4 in the regional office in Lija4. It took a further 2 days to be recorded in the state records4.
