Żebbug born and bred, Calcedonia was the daughter of a Filippo and married another Filippo. You can’t be more Żebbugija than that.

She is one of my maternal 3 x great-grandmothers.

She was born on Friday 11 November 18311 in Żebbug, Malta1. She was the daughter of Filippo Aquilina1 and Grazia Abela2. She was baptised in the parish church of Żebbug1 on the same day as Giovanna Calcedonia Rosa Filippa1.

She must have lived in Zebbug because this is where her daughter was born3.

As was customary those days, she didn’t work and her family described her as a housewife3.

Death

She was still alive in 1884 when her daughter married3. I have no other information about where, when or how she died.
