I know Rosaria existed because of the record of her marriage; I haven’t found her birth and death records, as yet.

She is one of my paternal 3 x great-grandmothers.

She was born after 1802, daughter of Giovanni Sant and Rosa Abdilla¹.

I don’t have a more precise date of birth but since her parents married in 1802, it must be later than this.

I also don’t have a place of birth but since her parents married in the parish of Porto Salvo, Valletta², it’s likely they lived there too.

Family

On Sunday 31 May 1835³, she married Luigi Xuereb⁴ in the parish of Our Lady of Porto Salvo⁵ in Valletta, Malta⁶.

Together they had 5 children⁷:

• Francesco
• Vincenzo
• Ricardo
• Giuseppe
• Carmelo
